We will help you get the most out of your plan
About to become an NDIS participant?
Pinnacle Care Australia has the expertise in making the NDIS process easy to understand. We have been helping a number of our participants to make sure they got what they are entitled to
What is the NDIS responsible for?
The NDIS provides funding to eligible people based on their individual needs.
Every NDIS participant has an individual plan that lists their goals and the funding they have received. NDIS participants use their funding to purchase supports and services that will help them pursue their goals.
Everyone has different goals but they could include things like getting and keeping a job, making friends or participating in a local community activity. NDIS participants control the support they receive, when they receive it, and who provides it.
Other community and government services
People who are not eligible for the NDIS can still get help to access community and other government services.
STILL LOOKING FOR MORE ANSWERS
If you are aged between 7 and 65, a local area coordinator can help you to understand the NDIS, apply and connect with other government and community supports.
If you have a child aged under 7, an early childhood partner can provide supports to children before they apply, and let families know if the NDIS is right for their child.
For more criteria, you may need to check the eligibility checklist
If you think you might be eligible and want to apply:
- make a verbal application by calling us on 1800 800 110
- complete an Access Request Form and return it to us
If you need help to apply, please contact your local area coordinator, early childhood partner or NDIA office.
